Hi Avelina-I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. :) I sent you a friend request so I can send you a message about getting the girls together! Have a great weekend.
Comment by Avelina Blackman on January 4, 2012 at 10:37pm Hi Lee, let me know what days work best with you and the girls. My daughter is 9 and is a homeschooler two days a week. Weekends are also good. We can pack a lunch and meet you at a park, and take it from there. Email me if you would like.
Hi-I'm Lee, and have 2 daughters ages 11 and 8. We're secular homeschoolers and love being outdoors, hiking around Redlands and Yucaipa, going to the skatepark, etc. I'd like for the girls to meet friends their age with similar interests. :)

Inland Empire Kids Outdoors spans a huge geographic area and it is often difficult for families to drive long distances to attend events. If you would like to start your own local nature club, feel free to use the Groups feature (located on our main page) as a starting place. Use the Groups as a way to connect with local parents and get organized. If you would like to see a custom group, please e-mail us!
For more information about how to start a local Nature Club for Families, download the Toolkit!
Inland Empire Kids Outdoors was created after a local parent read Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv.
