Hello-I'm Lee, and have two daughters ages 11 and 8. We're secular homeschoolers, and love being outdoors, hiking in Redlands and Yucaipa, going to the skatepark, etc. I'd like for the girls to find some friends their age with similar interests. :)

If anyone would like to get together and go to Yucapia Regional National Park, let us know. We enjoy it there, and make a day out of it. would love to see you.

Hi my name is Cara. I have 2 boys 1 and 3 and we are family that like to hike, geocache, fish and camp.  We would like to meet more people in the area with similar interests.

Do you want to start a local nature club?

Inland Empire Kids Outdoors spans a huge geographic area and it is often difficult for families to drive long distances to attend events.  If you would like to start your own local nature club, feel free to use the Groups feature (located on our main page) as a starting place.  Use the Groups as a way to connect with local parents and get organized.  If you would like to see a custom group, please e-mail us!

For more information about how to start a local Nature Club for Families, download the Toolkit!

About the Children and Nature Movement

Inland Empire Kids Outdoors was created after a local parent read Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv.

To learn more about the movement to reconnect our families to nature and the outdoors, visit the Children and Nature Network.
