Comment by Janie Duke on May 2, 2012 at 3:43pm Hi Diana,
I just joined and live in RC. There are a ton of things happening in RC this month outdoors b/c it's National Fitness Month. A lot of events are posted on the Macaroni Kid - Rancho Cucamonga website and the Macaroni Kid Rancho Cucamonga FB page. I will be doing the Cucamonga Challenge on 5/12 on the Rails to Trails starting at Central Park. The link to sign up is on the MacKid website. There is a Fitness & Health Fair that day too right after the race. They'll have a kids obstacle course, tricycle race, etc. How old are your child(ten)? Want to join me?
Comment by Diana Ha on May 27, 2011 at 1:59pm Hi, I'm trying to find my way around this group....not too tech-savvy. When and where are the next Rancho-ish outings?

Inland Empire Kids Outdoors spans a huge geographic area and it is often difficult for families to drive long distances to attend events. If you would like to start your own local nature club, feel free to use the Groups feature (located on our main page) as a starting place. Use the Groups as a way to connect with local parents and get organized. If you would like to see a custom group, please e-mail us!
For more information about how to start a local Nature Club for Families, download the Toolkit!
Inland Empire Kids Outdoors was created after a local parent read Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv.
